Why I'm Here

Hello!

I am in no way a social media or blogger wiz, most days I have no idea what I’m doing here. I joined Instagram back in 2012 when it first launched, and even started to get into the blogging game back then. I was finishing law school and didn’t have the time or confidence to really pursue it the way it needed to be done. Plus, I try to maintain privacy in my personal life, which was a road block to getting my blog off the ground.

Fast forward six years, and over four years into being part of the Kansas City Fashion Week team, I realized I needed a “public” space to highlight all of the participants and businesses who make KCFW possible. Thus, I decided to start “The Katie Chronicles” on January 1, 2019 as a place to highlight my favorite products and businesses. Additionally, I shop on a budget and re-wear clothes that have been in my closet for the better part of a decade.

So, I wanted to expand the content to share steals and deals for budget-friendly closets. My ultimate goal is to create relatable content that will (hopefully) inspire my followers, and connect with like-minded people along the way.
