Pêche Pop-up

Adam and I were invited to attend the Pêche pop-up event hosted by Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar, and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint!

Guests arrived for the family-style event and were greeted with a delicious cocktail to sip on while mingling amongst each other.

The owners welcomed the room with a nod to their 5th anniversary and reveal of the new event space—this event was its first!

Next, James Beard Award winning chef and owner of Pêche Seafood Grill, Ryan Prewitt, shared with us the mission of Pêche—working with local fisherman who harvest fish sustainably—a mission shared by Jax.

With a live band entertaining in the background, the menu started to come to life.

Tuna, snapper, and grouper were flown in from the Gulf specifically for this event (and Chef Ryan flew in the underbelly of the plane right along with it).

The food was spectacular, the ambiance was buzzing, and bellies were full.
